Elephant Gate Names Its Inaugural Cohort

Selected from a global applicant pool, the companies span clinical infrastructure, reimbursement, screening, neurofeedback, continuity of care, AI operations, and stewardship — the practical rails the field needs to scale responsibly.

SAN FRANCISCO, August 26, 2026 — Elephant Gate, the accelerator powered by venture builder Pink Elephant for founders working in psychedelics, today announced the companies selected for its inaugural cohort.

The field’s constraint right now isn’t science or investor interest, as both are ahead of where the infrastructure is. It’s the operational layer: reimbursement pathways, psychological screening that holds up to clinical and regulatory scrutiny, and continuity of care once a dosing session ends. Cohort 1 was selected to build exactly that, through a six-month program that pairs capital with a hands-on mentor network and a community that takes the responsibility of this work as seriously as the science.

The Cohort 1 Companies

HealingMaps — Independent clinics pay too much for services and supplies, and can't collect on insurance-reimbursed treatments. We fix both—without changing how they run.

Safar — One in four clients drops out of therapy prematurely. They feel disengaged and drift away. Safar is the first continuity of care platform for psychedelic therapy and integration, keeping clients engaged between sessions and making outcomes measurable across the full arc of care.

Homecoming — Homecoming turns rigorous psychological screening for psychedelic therapy into a reimbursable service — $500–$1,000 per patient in claims paid by insurers via standard CPT codes.

Psio — Psio extends psychedelic care beyond the medicine session by translating EEG brainwave data into personalized at-home neurofeedback and remote client support to track integration, strengthen outcomes, and turn the neuroplastic window into lasting change.

VistaraOS — VistaraOS fills psychedelic trials faster. It finds, screens, and schedules participants itself, and keeps every visit on protocol.

Psychedelic Stewardship — Education and resources to help you navigate psychedelics with clarity and confidence, and translate meaningful experiences into lasting change.

"Psychedelic businesses don't have a shortage of vision right now. They have a shortage of operators who can build durable companies. That's what drew me to this cohort. These are teams far enough along that being part of the accelerator will change their trajectory. Everything I'm seeing says this field will keep growing for the next couple of decades, across pharma, clinical delivery, religious and state models. We need as many capable business people as we can absorb. I'm glad to help these founders get there."

Joe Moore, Co-Founder & CEO of Psychedelics Today and co-creator of Vital; Lead Mentor, Pink Elephant Accelerator

The cohort will spend six months in weekly sessions, mentor work, and 1:1s, culminating in Demo Day in San Francisco on January 11, 2027, alongside the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference.
